Correct, but a fully updated version of SourceBans should replace all functions of basebans.smx anyway, which is why it's moved to the plugins/disabled folder. You are using SourceBans 1.4.11, which is the latest full public version of SourceBans. That version has become very outdated and has many bugs that have not been corrected due to numerous game updates by Valve since the last update to SourceBans was done. If you are having trouble still, I suggest installing the 1.5 Forked version of SourceMod. It's a heavily modified version on the 1.4 public release with many fixes that correct the problems present in the 1.4.11 public release. Info about 1.5 Fork can be found both here on this site as well as the Allied Modders website. Take care.
Save the config file and copy over a fresh version of the web folder files. It would be far easier to do this than try to figure out what files are changes that are causing you the problem you're having. Good luck!
It appears you are using version 2.0 of SourceBans which is an unsupported product and never made it out of beta. I suggest you install the forked 1.5 version of SourceBans and use that instead. That version is fully supported by the author and works correctly. You can find more info about that version on both this site and the Allied Modders website. Take care
Hey, today I installed sourcebans on one of my servers, the connection between the webpanel and the database is working just fine. Entering a ban there writes in the database correctly, however when I ban a user with the sb_ban command ingame he will be banned, but just until the server restarts and there is nothing written in the database! Same goes the other way round, if I enter a ban in the webpanel the gameserver won't apply that ban! (It seems to me like there is no connection between the gameserver and the database) Interestingly I can't find any logfiles in my /sourcemod/logs folder which makes it really hard for me to find the reason for this problem. I'd appreciate some help and hope to find a solution so I can use this awesome plugin Here is my databases.cfg & sourcebans.cfg: And this is my sourcebans.cfg
